Stanford in the Vale Primary School

Our village school is Stanford in the Vale Primary School www.stanford.oxon.sch.uk

This is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School which was established in the early 1870's and continues to be a part of the local church community. 

There are three Foundation Governors from St Denys Church on the Governing Body and Tim takes several RE lessons and assemblies each term.  St Denys is only a short walk away from the school and the church plays host to the whole school for various special services throughout the year in addition to being the venue for the school Christmas plays.

Stanford in the Vale Pre-School

The village pre-school is just round the corner from the church.  It looks after children aged 2-5, many of whom move up into the village primary school after their time at pre-school has ended.
